Miranda McIntosh is Senior Partner in
Kerseys the Ipswich firm of solicitors. She is author of Sweets Notes
from Summer Music, a collection of dessert and cake recipes and is responsible
for a major portion of the organisation and production of food for the
annual East Anglia Summer Music Festival.

Festival, is a conductor whose appearances with orchestras have taken
him to more than 70 countries. American by birth, his interest in food
and its presentation has broadened through the years of association with
the East Anglian Summer Music Festival Audience.

Miranda McIntosh has two parallel careers. As Miranda
Reckitt she is a busy Family Lawyer and Senior Partner in Kerseys, the
Ipswich, Suffolk, firm of solicitors. She is also Administrator for Artsanglia
Ltd (charity no 290754), in which her duties include organising the annual
International Summer Music Festival, as well as other musical events which
take place at The Old School in Hadleigh, Suffolk, where she lives with
her husband Thomas McIntosh, Artistic Director of the Festival.
Born in London, Miranda read law at Bristol University
and has been deeply involved in a variety of charitable causes, as well
as being the First Woman President of the Suffolk & North Essex Law
Society. Beyond her superior talents as a cook, she is keenly interested
in gardening and in the lives of two felines, Baltimore Bell and Thomas
Jefferson, who think they own The Old School.
